The picture of the gloves in one of my favorite photos from this week. By using something different than a pure green and a pure red you showed complimentary colors, with a twist. The brightness of the lime green against the dark burnt sienna of the surface makes the gloves really pop.
What did you use to light this shot? It looks like the flash was up but it's hard to tell.
Thank you! I used an overhead light bulb, one of those twisty energy saver ones. I tried the flash, but the vivid florescent green of the gloves was too much with a flash. The background is a sweater from my closet and it is a much deeper burgundy red as you surmised. I thought they would look hideous together but I was curious and it ended up interesting. =)
