With all of these I was shocked by the quality I lost when faced with gloomy lighting and heavy mist.
So part two. I am sitting on the floor of my empty apartment getting eaten alive my mosquitoes, but it is the only place I have wifi. This assignment has been blood sweat and tears, literally.
Bonus and just for fun. Heavily edited bit of pretty.
I am really liking the heavily edited bit of pretty. Exactly what kind of editing was involved, because I am not seeing much more than levels and color manipulation.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo with the light house is gorgeous and I love the Sepia color to it. I think that's what it is called, or on my camera it is. Thanks for sharing that one!

The mist was no fun at all. I found it amazing how much it took over all of my photos. Thankfully I found a few hours of nice blue bright skies. I really like the 11th photo. The different shades of green work well together and the low hanging cloud captures what it has been like here for the last two weeks, making it look almost jungle like. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteI understand the days were dark, in general, but it seems as though you are drawn to this. There is always the opportunity to open the aperture or slow down the shutter a bit in order to let in more light. The fact that these are all pretty dark provides a clue to me that this may be a thread you want to explore. What is it about this darkness that you are drawn to? I notice it in some of your other photographs as well. I am psyched to see you are experimenting, and chose to share these experiments. Thank you
